A New York entrepreneur of the old school

I'd like to take you on a holiday walk through the magical city of New York.

Let's begin next to a Nathan's food truck. When I was a child, Nathan's hot dogs were a special part of any trip to Coney Island. They've come up in the world: this truck is parked on Fifth Avenue!

From entrepreneurial beginnings with founder Nathan Handwerker (I'm guessing a hot dog stand), Nathan's Famous has branched out to become a branded licensor, wholesaler, retailer and restaurant chain. In the first 3 months of 2025, Nathan's stock rose 14.6%.
